The Side Table Shuffle

Now that we have the living room renovated and our key furniture pieces in place (read more about that here and here) I have turned my attention to filling in some of the details.  One of those items is a side table to go between our two linen club chairs.

I am currently using my bedside table, and while I love the scale and proportions of it with these chairs, I kind of need it back in my bedroom!  I have been scoping out a few options and here is what I am considering (all under $200)...

I am digging the idea of going with something metallic.  I could mimic the bedside table with a similar look with option #2, but Moises isn't really into the silver.  I like the bronze of option #7 as well as the interesting shape, but I am afraid that the bronze might clash with the other silver accents in the room like the lamps and outlet covers.  I do like the idea of bringing in some pops of color with the painted options - that could be fun.  Option #6 is probably my favorite option.  I love the campaign style, gunmetal accents and vintage feel.

I am still deciding on a rug, console table and coffee table at the moment, so I'm not ready to pull the trigger just yet.  However, I think I'm leaning towards option #6.

    1. Thanks for the feedback! I agree, I think I like the look of a pedestal table between the two chairs as well.

  2. Hena has a good point, I think the round does work well there. I personally love that campaign style, but it might be to busy with the rad in the back ground. The simplicity of #4 might look nice. What ever you choose will look great!

  3. I really love the bright green table. I think it'd go well with a minimalist home to give it some color.

    1. I love the bright green too, but I worry that it might be too seasonal (spring/summer) and not work in the fall and winter. Thanks for the comment! :-)
